The Training Workshop conducted by the ASETUC Philippines Working Group was aiming to raise the awareness of the impact of the ASEAN integration process on trade unions. During the workshop general information on globalisation, the ASEAN structure and especially the ASEAN economic integration process have been given. Social Dialogue was promoted as the key for giving trade unions a voice in the economic integration process on national and regional level.
